Park(ing) Day is an international event for individuals and organizations to create places designed for people rather than cars using empty parking spaces.

The GT Student Planning Association's mission for Park(ing) Day is to bring people together to envision a better, more enjoyable use of public space. We are partnering with community organizations to convert street parking spaces into places for people to come together and experience an amenity filled environment in Tech Square. Watch the video from Park(ing) Day 2016 to catch a glimpse of all the exciting activities we had - instead of parked cars!

This year's Park(ing) Day will be held on Friday, September 15th, from 11am to 3pm.

We will be located on 5th St NW between Williams St NW and Spring St NW.
