The Atlanta Bike Coalition is advocating for legislation to make Atlanta Streets Alive a weekly event in Midtown Atlanta. Streets Alive is an international initiative that emphasizes open streets to create more walkable, bikeable, and community-oriented spaces. Atlanta Streets Alive has been a regular feature across the city since 2010, and the proposed legislation would make Atlanta Streets Alive a weekly occurrence, as opposed to something that currently just happens a few times a year.
